There have been several rumors relating to the release of the new iPad 3 and the iPhone 5 and the iPad 3 might be available earlier in the summers of 2012. The two earlier versions were both released in spring, however, certain rumors say that the next generation iPad will be released somewhere between May and August. However, the major news is that these next generation devices are going to support the LTE technology.
The electronic giant, Apple had previously claimed that LTE chips were not an option as they needed a lot of power. But, the new 2nd generation LTE chips have been released and many claim that Apple has again included the option of LTE chips in its upcoming devices.
A lot of Apple fans have been excited after this rumor but several fans have been disappointed. The reason is that LTE networks are not that widely scattered in the country and there are only some of the networks which support LTE technology. AT&T and Verizon are the only network carriers which support LTE based smartphones and there are only a couple of networks which support this technology in Asia. European citizens are also disappointed as there are currently no LTE supported smartphones in the European market and there are only a couple of cities in the entire continent which support LTE technology. Therefore, if Apple decides to launch its iPad and iPhone with LTE technology, then it will be forced to release both the devices in two different versions with one version featuring LTE and the other without LTE technology. However, a lot of people say that this might be an inappropriate decision as the devices without the LTE technologies will sell the most and there will be only a few people who will pay a higher price to purchase the LTE versions. Therefore, it would be foolish to bear such a high cost in implementing LTE technology in the first place.
Wi-Fi – one of the most used features of iPhone has also become one of the most complained functions of iPhone nowadays. Apple has now put serious effort to improve the user experience with iPhone Wi-Fi and Internet tethering kind of functionalities of the device. Still several iPhones are set to resent to the manufacturer for Wi-Fi connection issues.

Problems with iPhone Wi-Fi
Most effected problem with iPhone Wi-Fi is unable to switch on the Wi-Fi and use it. iPhone has never done great with the wireless controls and sometimes restarting the device also doesn’t help much.
Users have also complained that even they were able to switch on the Wi-Fi, iPhone continues to use the GPRS or Edge connection of the network service provider. There is no way to easily set the primary connection for the device and user can’t override the connection settings to use Wi-Fi first wherever available.
Some users have also reported that even they are using the Wi-Fi, iPhone repeatedly fails to connect to the nearest available networks and connection get disconnected irritatingly. Even if the connection gets restored, then also it shows up with very low strength.
Possible Solutions
So, now the question is can we solve the issues or we need to take the device to the iStore for the company to repair it properly?
Try the following measures which should be able to bring your Wi-Fi strength back -
- Reset the network settings of your iPhone and try searching for new networks again.

- Turn off all incoming connections including GPRS and Hard Reset your iPhone. Check if it can now detect new Wi-Fi connections with proper strengths.

- Try connecting to Private or Closed Wi-Fi networks which probably get you into secure zones where the device might perform better.
- Install MyWi – an interesting app, but jailbroken, which has claimed to be useful by several users to solve their Wi-Fi issues with iPhone.

Now after this if you are not being able to restore the proper capacity of the device then it might be the antenna of your iPhone which needs to be replaced and unfortunately that can be done by Apple only.
